Once your vehicle is three years old it will be due an MOT Test (Ministry of Transport Test). Failure to have a valid MOT can result in your insurance policy being invalid. Bracebridge Heath MOT & Repair Centre Ltd is an M.O.T Station that is Government approved by the Ministry Of Transports appointed Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.
The MOT scheme is primarily a road safety measure designed to ensure as far as possible that all cars, motorcycles and light goods vehicles more than 3 years old are in roadworthy condition. The MOT test looks at a number of areas of your vehicle, and usually takes about an hour to complete. The test includes looking at the headlights, brakes, emissions, windscreen, tyres, registration plate, suspension, steering and more. Should your vehicle fail its MOT test then we can offer to carry out any repairs to ensure a pass, we will always contact you first with the result of an MOT and discuss the options available to you and we will never carry out any repair work without your consent.
